Dalam hal ini, sekering tersebut berfungsi untuk mengisolasi sirkuit setelah sekering putus dari sistem yang tersisa sehingga mencegah kerusakan selanjutnya.<\/p>\n<p>Demikian pula, mereka digunakan sebagai detektor kesalahan dalam sistem kelistrikan DC.
